How much do you charge for home watching services?

  • You will find our prices to be quite a value. Please see our Services page for all pricing.

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • We gladly accept personal checks and PayPal.

Will you monitor my other service providers such as landscapers, cable repair men, and pool cleaners?

  • Of course we will! This would be considered a Waiting Service we can provide for $20 per hour.

What if I need to replace one of my home services, do you have a list of home service vendors that you trust?

  • Absolutely. Since we have been in the industry for many years, we have provided homeowners with many reliable vendors.

Should I turn off my cable?

  • If you’d like, we can surely take care of that for you as part of our Concierge Service.

Should I empty my refrigerator?

  • We will empty out your refrigerator as part of our Departure Service.

Will you store my mail?

  • Yes. Just give us the specifics and we will take care of it.

Should I turn off my water heater?

  • That’s also included in our Departure Service. And, we’ll turn it back on with our Arrival Service!

Should I change the air conditioner filter? Will you do it while I’m away?

  • We check it for you during our scheduled visits and will replace it for you, if needed.

What if there’s a storm or hurricane while I’m away?

  • We can prepare your home for a hurricane. Just say the word and we will prepare you an estimate.

What if there’s an unforeseen problem like a leaky roof or pipe burst?

  • Don’t worry. We will notify you immediately and can provide you with an estimate to repair any damage or clean-up, if needed.

How often do you inspect my home?

  • Bi-weekly or monthly

How do I know you inspected my home?

  • We will provide an email Status Report after every visit.

Are you insured and bonded?

  • Yes.

A neighbor looks after my home, why do I need House Butlers?

  • Unfortunately, sometimes things just happen—burglaries, water pipes break, pest infestations, a/c needs repair. All these things cause damage that can be greatly minimized when you have a “Military Veteran” there for you.

Do I have to sign a contract?

  • Absolutely not.

What if I want an inspection on a holiday?

  • House Butlers recognizes most major holidays, but can provide this added service for an added fee.

What if I’m out of state? How will you get my keys?

  • We will provide a prepaid envelope to you.

What areas do you cover?

  • Areas include All of Collier County and all surrounding areas. *Other areas available upon Request.
